From one of Italy’s most imaginative winemakers. Alessandro di Stassio’s Carazita, a fascinating blend of Aglianico (a noble grape), with Sangiovese and Merlot, is believed to be the first blend of it’s kind. Moreover, for the first time, 20% of this wine is Taurasi, which was aged in oak for 3 years. Wow! Ponte, by the way, means bridge -- and the estate’s original ancient Roman bridge is still in use.
