Aged two years in new French oak, this decadent Nebbiolo comes from across the dirt road from Barolo, so it is not eligible for DOCG, but shares the same meso-climate and winemaker pedigree. Thus, the value is self-evident. The style is lusher, more fruit-driven than traditional Barolo, with pleasant forest floor aromas, and a meaty rose-water spiciness that lingers.
