Notes: This low-profile (if not virtually unknown) Bordeaux varietal makes a powerful and intriguing wine when grown in Washington. From a family-farmed vineyard in the Columbia Valley's Wahluke Slope, the ANIMALE Petite Verdot has a deep and dark color, aromas of cherries with hints of cardamom and notes of minerals and stones; full-bodied, intense and concentrated, firm acidity and a long and powerful finish.
